Trauma is not just an event that happened in the past; it is a footprint left in your nervous system. Whether it’s a single incident or a history of prolonged stress, I provide a specialist, somatic-led space to help you move out of 'survival mode' and back into a life of safety and presence.
The biggest myth about trauma is that you should just be able to 'think' your way out of it. Because trauma is stored in the body’s survival centres, traditional talk therapy alone can sometimes feel like hitting a wall. The truth is that healing requires a 'bottom-up' approach—calming the body first so the mind can finally follow.

NHS data indicates 1 in 10 people will experience PTSD in their lifetime, showing how common the 'stuck' response is.

Research shows 80% of trauma survivors experience physical symptoms (fatigue, tension), proving trauma is a body-based issue.

Evidence-based trauma therapies like CBT and Somatic work show high recovery rates in restoring nervous system balance.
Trauma may have rewritten your past, but it doesn't have to define your future. Together, we can restore your sense of safety and help you return to the present.
I utilise a Trauma-Informed, Somatic-led approach. I integrate CBT with Nervous System Regulation techniques. We focus on the 'window of tolerance'—identifying the biological 'why' behind your triggers and flashbacks.
We move at the pace of your nervous system. Using Somatic Grounding and Focusing, we create a 'felt sense' of safety. We don't just revisit the past; we build the internal resources you need to stay grounded in the present.
The goal is Post-Traumatic Growth. We work to move you from a state of hyper-vigilance to a state of calm. You will leave with a practical toolkit to manage triggers and a restored sense of agency over your own life.
